Desloratadin Xantis is a generic version of Clarinex ( Aerius) . An active ingredient is desloratadine .

Desloratadine is an antihistamine used to treat the symptoms of allergies, such as sneezing, watery eyes , runny nose and is also used to treat skin hives and itching in people with chronic skin reactions .

The recommended dose of Desloratadine for adults and children 12 years or older is 1 tablet - 5 mg daily.

DESLORATADIN may cause serious side effects including:

• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat,
